Avalon: Magi
Centuries ago, people believed magic was spoken with words, that a power within could be controlled, with a wand. What they didnt know was that, they were stories told by mortals to there children as magical fairy tales, to imaginate them while they young, but deep with in the worlds real magic was used by the minds of the users.
Three years ago, the lands of Camelot were shaked by the presants of a man named merlin. With or Without a wand he could conjuer magic. But something within leaked a darker power. With the death of the King of England, Merlin left leaving a legacy, and a gift to control the forces that surround them, a book known as the 'Power of Magi'. Words after word the reads learn the skill, not knowing its true, nature. Each one handing down the skills of natural, and the unnatural. Five House of the Art, protected the Skill as it should, but far into the lands, ther are always those the wish to use it for the pwer to control the world.
Deep in the forest of Northampshire, a boy looked over the lands its hills covered with rocks, lust meadows gloomed the lands with blue and yellow, his face smooth, his eyes light as the sky, his hair rough, and unmessy. The boy looked at the sky watching the clouds, move, the he began to sing.
"Ma--De--Ka. En do je--h.
Po--Ji--se--mo----day.
Ma--De--Ka. En do je--h.
Pi--tee--jon..."
He stopped something in the distances could be heard, Standing up he saw men clad in armor rushing towards him, frozen The soliders rush towards, one with his sword raised, the boy eyes reflecting the sword slowly rushing through his body, blood covering the lands, seconds later, off into the disatnce screams could be heard as the village of innocent people were slaugthered. The Boy laying cold still was sweeped up by a man, "Good hes still o.k." Still in the mans hand he watched, as his people die and his father being decapitated.
In this boys head he heard the song, that he remembered as a child repeating over and over. Slowly he wake to a smell of soup "Good your awake..." "Father...Ouch!" shouted the boy, gripping the stomach, a bandage covered what was teh wound he felt, still remembering the image of the soliders sword raising at him. "Who are you..." the man older than 70, wore a hand pointy at the end, his beard long with a a touch of gray add into, his eyes were narrow and kind "oh me...ha ha...well lad, i think i forgot my name long ago..." laughing "just call me...Gray...yes gray suits me well, and may i ask how you are, throwing bread at his "I-i am jin...sir" looking at the man he said again "Why did you help me" Mixing the soup and tasting it "We it was the song you were-well-singing...It was a something i remebered or was teached, by a man older than i was long ago...his man was-ah-i forgot" tasting the soup once more he looked at the kid "Here eat you need it...I'll check the wound before night, then i'll take you to see my old friend he knows how to help you" "Thank you" said the boy eating the soup. In this head thesong keep playing, he could almost here harps and flutes, and imagened a women dancing to it.
The Night had come he dreamed of the hills and is friends, his father working on the mill his mother, making his meal, and then it was dark a fog in his mind had came over him, and when it faded he saw his mother, father and freinds dead near him, "NO What-NO-O-O-O-O!" He wake, his eyes tear, all he felt was anger..."The King did this..." "No, It was a Lord of the Eastern lands, These men were trained to kill, those loyal to the king, i was the kings fateful adviser, like those before me...hummm...I forgot to tell you...i am a mage, please boy sleep youll need it..." before he could speak his eyes were becoming tired, But this time he dreamed of nothing.
As they began to walk, jin noticed an unusual path they were walking, it bent into the wall, looking around think he was crazy, grey then leaned himself close to it whispering and then looked at the boy "Boy i think you'll like my old friend Oak.." "Oak, why the weird names" spoke the boy, thinking the names were uncanny while really unsual to people to be called. Jin then watched grey open the wall, "the wall spliting in-half to make another enterance, very cool" though jin not sure what to believe at this moment. "Oh i must remind you, hes not one of those people that speak a lot, he tends to keep to himself" Jin looking at him as if to think he might have realized that while in greys company. JIn and grey both walked for two miles through heavy bushes and autumn like trees. Then as they turned the corner the saw a house, built inside a tree, its windows circler its door larger than a normal human "ooh boy hes also a gaint" "now you tell me..." said jin, looking at grey with a grumpy look. "yes, but hes not all gaint hes half.." said grey then pointing at the house, jin not bothered to ask why hes was pointing at the house walked towards the door, suddenly the door openned "Ah your late, you said..." "i know this is why" grey pointing at me, smiling jin looked at Oak with the most unsual look, as if to think he may be fatter than what most giants are. Oak, tall lean his hair silver from the old age, his eyes to narrow filled with wisdom and knowlegde. Oak then looked at me again "dont you think this is great weather, the skys are blue, there is no storm coming, and what is it..." looking at the boy, jin then remember his mother and father, the blue skys the nights he had with them on the roof, watching the stars. Grey leaning towards Oak whispered "I have something to talk about, but first this boy needs to sleep" grey putting his hand to stop jin from crying, showed jin the room, the rooms wasnt that great the bed was a stub and the gwilts were made of swode leaves, from a bombi tree, known for there large leaves and for holding togther under pressure.
As the light began to dim out, the moon made its presants, Jin looking at the moon unable to sleep, began to him, in his head repeating the song his mother sang to him as a young child.
"Ma--De--Ka. En do je--h.
Po--Ji--se--mo----day.
Ma--De--Ka. En do je--h.
Pi--tee--jon..."
"That song is the song of the Magi" grey entering the room, my master would sing it to summon a spirit, but there was more to that, i see why you sing it...if you finished it, a powerful spirit would come, there well-umm-called guardians, each guardian takes the form of a creature" Oak also entering "Grey here has told me of what happened and that he saved you, but i have one question about that song i heard who teached you that..." Jin still looking at the moon "my...Mother" Oak moving closer "her name..." Jin then looking away from the moon to look at Oak "Her Name was Cloud..." Grey interpting jin, remebered the name "Cloud of the Wind Magi's...well now i see why i was told to go to your village by an older friend--well that is--before he died...poor soul" Grey and Oak both began to get up, moving to wards the door, grey turned to speak "Well ill let you sleep, there is know something i wish to show you" and with that Jin began to sleep, all he could think of was his mother and father, all three sing the song, over and over again.
