Age: 21
Eyes: Black
Hair: None
Gender: Male
Height: 6'1
Weight: 148 lbs.
Class: Thief
Weapons:
Dagger. A sharp one. Nothing too special about it. It's in a sheath in his belt.Armor/Equipment:
A bottle of water, a small sack at his belt, and a brown hard leather shirt worn beneath a cape.Appearance:
Bartas is what some might consider ugly. His cape and hood disguises most of this, and also hides whatever muscular structure he may or may not have. His eyebrows are bushy and almost protrude out above his eyes, giving them a sunken look. He wears leather boots that make little sound while he moves, and his cape his made of soft material that gives the same effect. He wears brown leather gloves, and his pants are dark cotton. His clothing allows for total silence.Personality:
Bartas has been a thief for a long time, and in that time, he has come to observe that people are much better tools than weapons. His knowledge of how to use people to get what he wants has made him intelligent, perceptive and at times, manipulative. He has also noticed small weaknesses present in humans, silly customs and inconvenient emotions. It is for this reason (in part) that his clothing and equipment are so simple. If he loses an item, it's not important so he never needs to return to an area, risking a lot, to find it.Strengths: Intelligent, well-coordinated with the dagger.
Bartas has been known to be a master of thievery. His ability to perceive what his enemy does and react quickly has spared he and his hired men many a time.
Weaknesses: Somewhat frail, passive.
Abilities:
Other than the skills of a thief (bartering, slight of hand, stealth, etc.), Bartas has no abnormal abilities unless one counted lockpicking as an ability, in which case he would have one.History:
Bartas was born in a town far to the south, in the middle of a heated war between two other kingdoms. In one particular battle, one of the kingdoms used the town as a scapegoat to avoid attack by appearing in the town with soldiers and weapons. So, the opposing nation attacked the town, allowing the other nation to move around the city while they were stalled and deal a fatal blow to the enemy supply line, subsequently ending the war. In the carnage, Bartas fled to the north, taking no more than his dagger and the clothes on his back. He had no purpose to be in the area, per se, but he was a traveller who seeked to make a living through bounties, favors and thievery.
