Yes, it happens to each and every one of us- Writer's Block. So, if you're having trouble coming up with a battle environment, just choose one from here! A special bonus with these is that they add/subtract certain status effects to your battle to make all the more exciting:
Volcano
Here at the volcano, it's amazingly easy to slip and fall into its burning depths. Of course, in the middle of the blazing inferno is a nice large slab of rock. This is big enough to have a great battle.
Of course, if you want, you can have your battle outside of the volcano. In this instance, a fire-based character can use this volcano to his/her advantage. For example, this person could make it have a small eruption, or use the lava to bend it.
You can do both things while inside as well, though making it erupt inside wouldn't be too smart.
Snowy Forest
The Snowy Forest is only for those characters who have great eyesight for it is constantly snowing here with large flakes, making it hard to see. It's not any better, though with a lot of trees around. While here, you can use the trees and bushes to provide great cover.
One good thing, though is that if you do find your way through this large maze of snow, trees and bushes, there is a large clearing smack dab in the middle covered in about a foot of snow. It's just large enough to have a great fight and it doesn't snow half as much here because the trees curl over to create an umbrella effect.
Floating Castle
Yep, you heard correctly- a floating castle. This castle is horribly large, meaning you can just about anything outside of it to battle. There are some beaten down crossbows and shoddy swords and daggers. There are only two of each, so battle wisely.
Plus, there are very many obstacles to go through such as jumping over things, crawling, climbing, etc. This arena involves a great workout for those strong characters.
If your opponent hits you hard enough, yes, you will fly off the castle to your impending doom. Fun, huh?
Rocky Mountain
This is a battling area that you must be incredibly cautious with. If you hit the mountain with a nice, strong attack, expect the largest avalanche of boulders you've ever seen.
Also, be sure you have some very good grip, otherwise you'll be falling all the way down to the bottom. There are many trails as well for you to battle. Just use your imagination!
Oceanic Arena
When entering this large arena, completely locked in by an invisible wall, you are given a certain amount of air to breathe in. You get 40 turns worth of air before you drown. So, you must be quick to defeat your opponent, otherwise you'll drown!
Thundering Plain
Here is where speed and finesse come in. This basically a normal field with grass, etc, except it's pouring with rain, and it's full of thunder and lightning. You better watch out because the lightning could strike at you at any moment.
NOTE: You do not have to use these!
